IT Assessment for Marketing Organisation

“Ian was asked by the organisation to perform a technology audit to determine the current needs of the company, whilst maintaining day to day operations and ensuring it was at the forefront of changes in technology.

The organisation had no in-house IT capability, but Ian was quickly able to develop a rapport with the team and develop their IT requirements in business terminology. Ian then did a complete review of the technology in use across the organisation and developed a set of key recommendations. 

These recommendations covered IT applications, network and data management, also how the technology should be used, and the type of culture changes needed.  Ian has been able to operate across the multiple teams and levels of the organisation, as well as engage positively with key suppliers, and we would recommend him for future work.”

IT Strategy and high level implementation plan for construction group

The group wanted an IT strategy which built on their foundations to embrace future technological innovation.  Ian was able to define an IT Strategy which included the goals for technology and a prioritised set of requirements for its delivery.

Ian then went on to develop a high level implementation plan to achieve the elements in the strategy, along with a set of ballpark costs to enable budgeting, decision making and business cases to be written for board approval. 

We were very pleased with the outcomes as this work has enabled us to set a direction for technology and also to gain an improved understanding of the resources needed to achieve the outcomes.
